STRATEGIC PLANNING

Simply put, strategic planning determines where an organization is going over the next year or more, how it's going to get there and how it'll know if it got there or not. Far more important than the strategic plan document, is the planning process itself. There are a variety of perspectives about strategic planning and a variety of approaches used in the strategic planning processes. UNLIMITED has gained an understanding of how Small non-profit organizations tend to conduct somewhat similar planning activities to each other that are different from those conducted in large organizations. Our experience places us in an ideal position to offer this service in the development industry.

LAND REFORM

The implementation of land Reform in South Africa requires significant and sustained land development over a wide range of land uses in both urban and rural environments. Such development is a major objective of the Reconstruction and Development Program. However, there exists an extra-ordinary and complex situation in regard to the laws applicable to land, land use and land development. UNLIMITED has developed knowledge and skill in dealing with land reform issues, particularly in land restitution and land re-distribution.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Performance Management is essential for any organization. If performance is not measured, it cannot be improved. It is essential for any organization to have an effective Performance Management process. This process / model should identify and prioritize the measurable key result areas within your organization. PUBLIC RELATIONS include ongoing activities to ensure the organization has a strong public image. Public relations activities include helping the public to understand the organization and its products. Similar to effective advertising and promotions, effective public relations often depends on designing and implementing a well-designed public relations plan.

MARKETING is the wide range of activities involved in making sure that you're continuing to meet the needs of your customers and are getting value in return. Market analysis includes finding out what groups of potential customers (or markets) exist, what groups of customers you prefer to serve (target markets), what their needs are, what products or services you might develop to meet their needs, how the customers might prefer to use the products and services, what your competitors are doing, what pricing you should use and how you should distribute products and services to your target markets.

UNLIMITED has, initially as part of community development initiatives, become involved in a number of Public Relations and Marketing initiatives. This has resulted in UNLIMITED employing staff with the necessary qualifications to execute these projects. In so doing we have developed expertise, skill and experience in both community based and project centred promotions and marketing plans.
